Checking the Oil in a Generac 14 kW Generator.
We check the oil while the generator is operating because the oil performs two functions; to lubricate the engine and cool the engine. Oil should be changed at least once a year.
Important Notes
– Turn off the circuit breaker before powering down the generator.
– It’s very important that you put all of the covers back on and latch the lid so that the air flow flows through the generator properly.

- Professional transport, rigging and handling of each generator to your home.
- Electrical installation completed per local and national building codes.
- Coordination with local gas utility for gas meter upgrade, if required.
- Battery sized per manufacturer’s recommendations.
- Generator site prep and lay gravel per manufacturer’s recommendations.
- On-site manufacturer recommended commissioning and startup of generator. Adjust frequency and calibrate voltage output, exercise transfer switch and balance loads for a complete and functional system.
- Customer approval check list. O & M manual in binder

• Lighting, receptacle, and smaller appliance loads.

Essential-Optional Circuit/Small Home
14-18kw Generator
16 circuit to 200 amp auto-transfer switch. This system will operate:
• As a managed whole house system for smaller to medium sized electrical loads. With 200 amp service.
• Can also be used as a partial house system to control selected loads on larger or higher electrical usage home.
Price range: $14,000 – $22,000
Medium to Large Home
18-26kw Generator
200 amp auto-transfer switch. This system will operate:
• As managed whole house for medium to large electrical loads
• Homes with 200-amp main service or 400-amp service with additional transfer switches Essential – Optional
Price range: $18,000 – $31,000
Extra Large Home/Commercial
Usually liquid-cooled or diesel.
Price range: $30,000-$50,000
