You will find that Trane, Mitsubishi, GE and Generac all expect you to do regular maintenance on your equipment. Maintenance is not warranty work, but is required to keep your warranty in effect. Maintenance on your comfort system or generator is like changing the oil in your car. It is something that needs to be done regularly and is your responsibility.
Our technicians will do a thorough check of your system, inside and out. They will check refrigerant levels, they will check to insure your system is producing the expected amount of heating or cooling. With generators they will insure that the system will come on when the power goes out and produce the expected amount of power to keep your home active while the utility restores power. They will make sure your thermostat is working properly. If your thermostat is programmable, they can assist you to adjust your programming.
Our technicians will clean dirty parts such as inside and outside coils. These coils have fins which transfers heat to and from the Freon that flows between your indoor and outdoor unit. Cleaning these coils take a bit of care so that they are not damaged. We have the right tools and chemicals to clean them properly without damaging these coils or the environment. Keeping these coils clean insures optimum heat transfer to keep you comfortable winter and summer.
Our in-home consultants might have offered you an “ESA,” an Energy Savings Agreement, when you were deciding on the right system for your home. If you didn’t take advantage of the offer then it is not too late. If you call the office we can assist you with one, two, or three year agreements.
