Home Standby Generators
We have factory-trained technicians for Briggs and Stratton and Generac standby generators. Installing and servicing standby generators is not a side business for us – we regularly size, install and service these quality systems.
Simply put, a standby generator is a permanent fixture installed outside of your home by a licensed contractor. It runs on either liquid propane or natural gas to automatically send back-up power to your home during a power outage or blackout.
The most important thing to remember when learning about whole-house generators is that, once installed, owning a standby is simple. Yearly generator maintenance is needed to ensure your generator is ready in the event of a power outage. Renaud Electric will be able to help set up a maintenance schedule. Some models offer easy-to-use wireless monitoring systems to ensure you always know how your generator is performing.
